Inspired by traditional Moroccan forms, the Amlou Mug combines a generous shape with warm cumin-toned glazes reminiscent of the rich colours of Amlou. Hand-thrown on the wheel, its organic curves and comfortable handle make it a piece designed for daily rituals and unhurried moments.

We ship from Austria and process orders within a few working days — a little longer during launches or busy periods.
Standard shipping is €6.99 within Austria and Germany (free over €100), and €9.99 across the rest of the EU (free over €150). Delivery takes 2–5 days domestically, 3–10 days across the EU.
In-stock pieces ship right away; pre-order pieces are made to order and shipped as soon as they're ready.
How it is made
The Amlou Mug is shaped entirely by hand on the potter's wheel, its handle pulled and attached separately before the first drying. Inspired by the ochres and ambers of Moroccan spice markets, the glaze is applied by hand and fired twice — first to harden the clay, then to seal and transform the glaze. Each piece is sanded at the base before leaving the studio. It's a slow process, and you can feel it in the result.
